Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated October 30, 2026

Coagy lets agents run commands and change code on real computers, so we are strict about misuse. You are responsible for your use of Coagy and for what your agents do.

You may not use Coagy to

  • break the law, or help anyone else to;
  • attack, probe or gain access to computers, accounts, networks or data you do not own or do not have clear permission to test, including by pointing an agent at them;
  • create, run or distribute malware, ransomware, spyware, credential-stealing code or anything designed to damage, disrupt or secretly monitor;
  • send spam, run scams or phishing, impersonate others, or collect personal information unlawfully;
  • infringe intellectual-property, privacy or other rights, or upload content you have no right to share;
  • post content that is illegal, sexually exploits minors, promotes violence or harasses, threatens or discriminates against people;
  • share or use AI-provider accounts, API keys or connected-app access in ways their owners’ terms forbid, or use someone’s account or computer without their permission;
  • get around plan limits, billing, rate limits, approvals or other safeguards, or share one paid seat between several people;
  • overload, scrape, resell or reverse engineer the service, or use it to build a competing product by copying it;
  • store secrets you are not allowed to hold, such as other people’s passwords or regulated data you have no basis to process, in a workspace.

Your agents

An agent acts on your behalf. If it breaks this policy, it counts as your doing. Use approvals, spend limits and read-only modes for anything sensitive, and keep production credentials out of reach of agents unless you really intend them to use them.

Reporting and enforcement

To report abuse or a security problem, email hello@coagy.com. We may remove content, limit features, or suspend or end accounts that break this policy, with or without notice where the risk is serious, and we may report unlawful activity to the authorities.
